Mulholland Drive Project Part I: Living Room
Part I of our Mulholland Drive Project Reveal is finally here - nearly a year after we began this project! These are THE BEST clients + we’ve loved working with them for the last few years. Not only do they have impeccable style - they have super legit jobs. She travels the world professionally as a luxury travel planner and he produces the music for Hulu’s Handmaid’s Tale. See? Told you they were legit.
When these clients first reached out, they’d just purchased the home. It sits on top of Mulholland Drive with sweeping views of Los Angeles. Their goal was an eclectic, California casual look which aligned perfectly with our signature curated boho vibes. Bottom line - they wanted anything but cookie cutter.
After initial consultations, they decided to hold off on full project management for budget constraints and ran with our consultation advice. A year later, they called us back to furnish the house and the house had been transformed. The floors were replaced, the house was painted and the kitchen was opened up and refreshed with a new coat of paint. We ended up sourcing vintage items and pairing them with modern pieces for a bright California casual final look.
We’ve linked all the product sources (or similar items) at the bottom of this post so keep scrolling. Don’t forget to Pin the “Get the Look” image for reference later. BIG sales are happening this weekend, like One Kings Lane 20% off everything and Anthropologie’s 40% off already reduced home or 20% off full price (including the chair we used here). Also - don’t forget to snag this velvet tufted ottoman at 42% off with free shipping today!
