INDUSTRY LEADING PROCESS FOR A SEAMLESS PROJECT
After an in-person consultation, your homework begins. We ask our clients to compile visual inspiration for each of their spaces via Pinterest and collect more information about their everyday life and goals through an extensive questionnaire.
Once your homework is submitted, we will schedule a Discovery Meeting. During your first meeting as a client, the LBD team will take before photos, get accurate measurements, meet with trade vendors for bids, and outline practicalities like timeline and budget.
Following the Discovery Meeting, we begin piecing together the overall design direction. We start sourcing elements, gathering samples, creating floor plans, and drawing relevant elevations. All these details come together in a design presentation.

Lindsey Brooke Design is a full service boutique design firm founded by Lindsey Borchard. Based in Los Angeles, we offer clients all over the country a diverse range of turnkey services, including full service interior design for renovations and new construction projects, as well as furnishing selection and styling. The foundation of our work is our thorough and time-tested process, that accounts for every detail of your cohesive and thoughtfully-curated home.
Next, we meet to present our design plan for your review. The LBD team will discuss concepts and offer tactile samples to help you envision the completed space. During this meeting, we will take note of any revisions. We refine our plans and translate them into a formal proposal.
When all elements have been approved, we begin ordering. Your dedicated project manager will order all of your items directly from our trade-only vendors and handle all delivery and tracking. Upon arrival, our receiving warehouse will inspect and store all of your items. Meanwhile, the LBD team will book any remaining trade work.
When Install Day arrives, we kick you out of the house while our warehouse team delivers all the furnishings. The entire LBD team will be on hand to place and style each piece by hand. Depending on your project scope, this process can take up to several days. Once we've welcomed you home to your new space, we will book professional photography and deliver any outstanding invoices.
A successful home build requires an expert eye. The Lindsey Brooke Design team is adept at creating spaces that are timeless, comfortable, and entirely custom. We oversee the entire process, from construction to final styling. The end result is a relaxed, refined home that tailored to your lifestyle.
Transforming a home can be an overwhelming experience. Our team partners with clients to hone in on their vision for how their new home should look and feel. We collaborate with architects and builders to create a seamless experience, including hard surface selections, lighting plans, bespoke cabinetry, and more.

For clients who have a complete space but need some guidance striking the balance between beauty and function and creating a cohesive feel, LBD offers standalone furnishing and styling services. We select, source, receive, deliver, and install the elements that turn house into home.

INDUSTRY LEADING PROCESS FOR A SEAMLESS PROJECT
Every project begins with a one-on-one consultation. Once our initial proposal is approved, contracts are signed, retainer is paid, and client homework is complete, we are able to turn our focus to visualizing and curating each element. We will schedule a Discovery Meeting, wherein we will take on-site measurements and photos. Next, we will begin sourcing visual inspiration and piecing together concepts. As our initial plans take form, we will compile material samples, drawings, and furnishings in a visual and tactile presentation that will help you get a real sense of how your new home will feel and function.
project phase one: design
When the design of your home is finalized, we move on to sourcing the materials, textiles, design elements, fixtures and furnishings we've selected. This phase goes beyond ordering as our Procurement Manager, Lisa, tracks lead times, coordinates deliveries with our receiving warehouse, ensures each item is inspected, and schedules assembly of any furnishings ahead of installation. At this point in the process, we take a step back to review your budget and offer you updates so that you know what to expect in terms of total investment.
project phase two: ordering
This is the phase when your home finally comes to life! Once construction is complete, we walk through your new—or newly renovated—home together and take note of any tasks that remain. Next, we schedule an installation day for our team to deliver your furnishings, place them, and style them perfectly. Once we are finished, we welcome you home and have a final walkthrough to get your feedback. After we remedy any outstanding issues, we close out the project with a final budget meeting. Afterward, we celebrate a successful project and send you home to enjoy your new haven with a care and maintenance guide.
