This is one of our biggest bathroom transformations ever and it was a particularly fun one to work on since the clients had two boys, just like me! Our Camarillo Ranch Project has been our largest project to date because the home was passed down in the family. It was essentially untouched with original 70’s wood paneling, wall to wall carpet but the views are absolutely amazing. Instead of selling the property, we convinced our clients to stay and turn their nostalgic family home into the modern family home they needed. You can catch up on the living room and dining room reveal here and see the den here.
Here in this kids’ bathroom we ripped out the carpet (yes, wall to wall carpet in a bathroom – yikes!), installed a new shower with this classic subway tile and pretty blue detail, and replaced the vanity with this handsome hardware. To add depth and interest in this shared bathroom, we added shiplap to the walls, hung a simple, streamlined mirror, and opted for these Schoolhouse Electric pendant lights. We anchored the room with hexagon tiles, fun artwork and striped accessories.
